Tuition is based on $25.00 multiplied by the number of classes in the month. Please pay by check on the first class of the month.

Registration Information
Families should be ready to provide:
- Child's full name and date of birth
- Names of parents or guardians
- Phone number and emergency contact
- Home address and email address
- Any allergies or illnesses
- Permission preference for Local Motion schedule emails
Dress Code & Appearance
- Plain black ballet leotard, preferably long sleeves
- Pale pink ballet tights and pale pink ballet slippers
- Elastic attached below the bend of the ankle
- Hair secured off the face and neck
- No jewelry except tiny earrings for pierced ears
Required Gear
- A tote bag for ballet gear
- Ballet slippers
- A small jewelry bag
- A water bottle for the class water break
Boy's Uniform
- Black heavyweight tights
- Boy's dance belt
- White long-sleeve T-shirt
- Thin white socks
- White ballet slippers
Studio Rules
- No food or drink is allowed in the school except water.
- Please keep the waiting area quiet when waiting for your child.
- Missed classes may be made up in the closest class to the child's age.
Save the Date: Parent's Day
Parent's Day takes place during the week of June 15-19 during your child's regular class day and time. Students will demonstrate their movement vocabulary and dance in-studio.
Students will add a wrap skirt and color-coordinated hair bow. Look for a notice regarding skirts in early spring.
Manners for Dancers
Dancers show respect for themselves by:
- Being prompt for class.
- Being dressed properly for class.
- Having their hair up off the neck; a bun is preferred.
Dancers show respect for others by:
- Keeping their hands to themselves during class.
- Waiting quietly for others to have a turn.
- Talking only during share time or when spoken to by the instructor.
Dancers show respect for the teacher and art form by:
- Listening when the teacher speaks.
- Sitting with folded legs and backs up straight.
- Always asking before leaving the room for any reason.
Parents show respect by:
- Standing away from the viewing window if students are distracted.
- Having students ready for class before entering the classroom.
- Picking students up promptly after class.
